Hi my name is John. This is me with Jewels, the first guitar I built. I have played guitar for several years, actually decades as my daughter reminds me. In bands, at churches, camps, events, etc… I also have a bachelor degree in music and my dad was a carpenter, as am I. It was on my bucket list for a while to build a guitar from scratch, and I finally made my dream come true… not realizing I could make your dreams come true as well. While I was building my first guitar I found I have a passion for creating a special instrument (not just another factory copy) that sounds amazing. My family and friends seemed to feel the same way and encouraged me to created RLM custom guitars. My daughters Rachel, Laurel and McKenna are the inspiration for the name. My Jewels collection is named after the jewel of my life my wife. Lil’ Duke Ukes are named after our Dalmatian Duke. As you can see this is Family, Ohana (which is on every Ukulele I create by the way). If I can create a dream for you… you will be Ohana as well:)
